We took advantage of an absolutely perfect spring morning to drive to Conner Prairie which provides a glimpse of what life in Indiana was like in the 1830s. Unfortunately, it was too early in the season for the interpreters dressed in costume to give us more historical information. But obviously our kids are too young to care for right now. They were much more interested in seeing the animals. Pigs, chickens and a few cows were their highlights! It was just nice to be outdoors and enjoy the sunshine as a family. There was also a 4-story treehouse and a playground that they really enjoyed.
